Irrfan Khan Has A Fitting Response For His Detractors.

A day ago, Irrfan Khan invited the ire of Muslim clerics and religious bodies by saying that rather than fasting during Ramzan, people should ‘self-introspect’ and that animals are slaughtered in the name of ‘qurbani’ while ‘qurbani’ actually means to sacrifice something dear to you, not goats or sheep.
After some Muslim bodies lashed out at Khan and asked him to focus on his career and not make such statements, Irrfan took to Twitter to say, ''Pls Bhaiyon, who r upset with my statement, either u r not ready to introspect or u r in a hurry 2 reach 2 a conclusion. For me religion is abt personal introspection, it's a source for compassion, wisdom and moderation n not for stereotyping n fanaticism. Clerics don't scare me!! Thank God I don't live in a country governed by religious contractors (thekedars).''
Well, kudos to Irrfan for reacting to criticism in a mature manner!
