Radhika Apte has acted in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. She appeared in famous Bollywood movies like Badlapur, Hunterrr and also in Marathi movie Lai Bhaari. 1. INDIRECT PUBLICITY: Radhika Apte’s recent semi-nude video from an Anurag Kashyap’s film which went viral has bought some indirect publicity for her Telgu film as well. The actress had some advantage in terms of promoting her Telugu film, Lion. This is not for first time that Radhika has been in news. This help her to gain attention from her fans.

2. REACTION:Radhika reported to have told an online portal, “I saw it and laughed it off because it is really funny… I am really busy. I can’t waste my time doing that. My family and I never get affected by any of these things. So it just doesn’t bother me”. She also added that she thought the world had lots of people who have no jobs and they sit at home and do whatever they want to do. So she can’t waste her time going and making a complaint about it or even looking at it.

3. VIDEO WENT VIRAL : A video of Radhika Apte went viral on WhatsApp in April 2015 in which she was seen partly nude from below. The video was for film directed by Anurag Kashyap. Anurag said that his film was inspired from a true story and it was very difficult to make it due to this little sequence in the film of a few seconds that involves the actress to lift her dress and expose her lower front part. Anurag was not only angry but also felt responsible for the viral video of Radhika.

4. CRITICISING TELUGU INDUSTRY: In March 2015 Radhika made rather bold statement about the Telugu film industry. In an interview she criticised the Telugu Film Industry for being ‘patriarchal’ and ‘male chauvinist’. She stated that she had struggled the most with the Telugu film industry and that she does not wish to make any more movies there. She also commented on how the actresses were not treated well in the film industry.

5. TWEET: Radhika Apte made headlines in February 2015 after some nude pictures went viral on the internet. Radhika tweeted, “You guys! If you’re going to get someone to pass off as naked me, she needs to look a lot more like me.” But the fact is that this tweet was posted about 4-5 days before her pictures went viral. According to a report it was reported that the leak was a publicity stunt by Radhika in order to promote her film, Badlapur.
